Hiroshima Modest Wishes Kagee Exhibition2010
gHope our wishes would touch the worldh@
In the summer 60 years after the war I exhibited the Kagee of my own for the first time in Hiroshima. This summer is for the 6th yearfs exhibit that was made by primarily Hiroshima citizens. Every year the more citizens participated in this Kagee event. Each piece of work involves many wishes of Hiroshima residents from kindergartens to the elderly. I hope the blessing of peace would prevail steadily through those who are exposed to the exhibit. August 2010, by Yuko Hamazaki ( Kagee producer)

Future with no war involves birds building a nest and growing plants on a tank.
There is a Hibakusha(A-Bomb injured) who continues to go get the water of the waterfall for the memorial service for the killed by A-bomb.

We talked about the end of the war in Okinawa on June 23, A-bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and numerous number of the same small children who suffer in the countries where internal dispute gets endless. Earth to belong to everyone! Each child has expressed herself (himself) surrounding the earth with strong spirit to preserve the earth ourselves by drawing shape of continents they learned at the kindergarten.
Children look all happy and lively when they truly enjoy singing, dancing and performing. They bring to us adults hope and courage. Love & Peace Concert is held every February at Gains Kindergarten/ Hiroshima Jogakuin. We trust that the songs by the children surely reach not only the families at Concert but also every country in the world as praying for peace.
The kids felt what is important and cut each picture. Just like musical notes, they were finishing into the final Kagee out of houses, animals, flowers, earth, insects, friends, A-bomb Dome, God, heart and life each of which is so precious to them.

Every life on the earth given by God is equal. Grass, flower, insect, animal and human being are all the same. If everyone is shaking hands and making friends, every war would be gone ever in the world. The childrenfs strong wishes are reflected in this piece of work.
