〔We enjoyed eating weeds〕

Because of lack of foods, people drank water through broken water pipes and ate weeds such as wild spinach. Some enjoyed eating “boiled” or “with sesame sauce”. Furthermore, they ate anything edible like pumpkin peels and potato stalks.
